EZ in part number indicates “easy fit”. It is important that the instructions on the data sheet are followed carefully. Particularly the inner wire has to be deburred on the cut to prevent damage during assembly.

NOTE: These connectors only work with solid core LMR400 and equivalent cables.. A better choice for a multistrand  400 cable is TNC3100-L400 (for a soldered inner connection) or TNC 3100-0213 (for a soldered or crimped inner connection)
