Product Description

RF Shield Box, Sub-6 GHz & UWB, 0.1–12 GHz – Tescom TC-5915AU

Part Number: TC-5915AU

The TC-5915AU is a bench-top Faraday enclosure that blocks over-the-air interference so you can run stable tests on Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, 5G FR1 (Sub-6) and UWB devices. Place the DUT inside, close the lid, and connect instruments via the external RF ports and filtered I/O. The “AU” variant covers up to 12 GHz and supports absorber kits for improved repeatability.

  • Shielding/frequency: 0.1–12 GHz (high effectiveness across cellular/WLAN/UWB bands)
  • RF feedthroughs (standard): 2 × N jack (female, outside) to SMA jack (female, inside)
  • Filtered control/data: DB-series as standard; optional USB 2.0/USB 3.0 and RJ-45 GbE plates
  • Form factor: manual, gas-spring lid; absorber options available

Typical applications

  • 5G FR1 bring-up and coexistence testing
  • Wi-Fi (2.4/5/6 GHz), Bluetooth, Zigbee performance checks
  • UWB ranging/positioning experiments
  • Pre-compliance and regression testing in shared labs

Compatibility – quick check

  • Your DUT fits the internal space (~236 × 297 × 180 mm)
  • Operating bands within 0.1–12 GHz
  • 50 Ω N/SMA interfaces; add USB/Ethernet plates if data I/O is required

Install tips

  • Use short, low-loss 50 Ω jumpers; terminate unused RF ports.
  • Shielding depends on the I/O plate and attached cables—use filtered plates for data lines.
  • Fit absorber kits to reduce internal reflections for steadier OTA results.
