Product Description

This MCX0400A-0316 terminal is a crimp-style PCB edge mount component for anchoring miniature coaxial cables to a circuit board cut-out. Designed for RG174, RG188, RG316, and RG316-E cables.

PCB edge mount terminals provide a secure cable-to-board transition where space is limited and a conventional panel connector isn’t required. The cable braid crimps to the ferrule while the stripped dielectric and centre conductor pass through for soldering to PCB traces.

Assembly notes

Strip and tin-dip the cable, slide the ferrule over the braid, then position the body. The dielectric should protrude approximately 0.4 mm from the terminal face before crimping. Use a 3.3 mm (0.130″) hex crimp insert. Full assembly instructions are included in the datasheet.
