The BNC3100-9179 is a 75 Ω right-angle BNC plug (male) connector designed for
RG179 / RG179-FEP coax. The right-angle body reduces bend stress and is ideal for tight spaces behind instruments, racks, and enclosures.

Cable assembly (from official instruction sheet)
- Strip dimensions: 15.5 mm / 10.5 mm / 2.7 mm (strip as shown)
- Slide ferrule onto the cable.
- Wrap the braid upwards as shown.
- Fit the centre conductor onto the contact pin and solder at the indicated point.
- Slide the ferrule up and crimp (use the 3.3 mm / 0.130" hex section of INSERT-A).
- Finally screw the nut onto the connector body.
