Compared with an omni, a sector panel concentrates RF energy into a forward arc, improving signal where your clients or devices are mostly in one direction (yard, courtyard, car park, building face, etc.). It’s a tidy alternative to large dishes or yagis when you want area coverage rather than a pencil beam.
