Product Description
Rubber Ducky Antenna, RP-SMA Plug, 890–960 MHz, 2.15 dBi – ANT900Q2P-A60
Part Number: ANT900Q2P-A60
The ANT900Q2P-A60 is a classic straight “rubber ducky” antenna for the 890–960 MHz band, fitted with an SMA reverse polarity plug (RP-SMA, female pin) for 50 Ω systems. It’s designed as a neat, on-device antenna where you want something better than a PCB trace or tiny stub, without the hassle of a large external aerial.
The antenna provides around 2.15 dBi of gain with an omnidirectional pattern – it radiates in all directions around the stick, so there is no precise aiming required. The tuned 900 MHz band makes it suitable for GSM / LTE 900 and other systems operating in the 890–960 MHz range.
- Straight “rubber ducky” style dipole antenna
- Connector: SMA reverse polarity plug (RP-SMA, female pin)
- Impedance: 50 Ω
- Frequency band: 890–960 MHz
- Nominal gain: 2.15 dBi omnidirectional
- Compact on-device form factor, suitable for small enclosures and radios
Good use-cases
- GSM / LTE 900 MHz modems, trackers and gateways with RP-SMA antenna ports
- 900 MHz ISM / telemetry and remote monitoring equipment
- IoT and M2M devices operating around 900 MHz
- Lab / bench test setups needing a simple 900 MHz stick antenna
Compatibility notes (simple check)
This antenna is suitable if:
- Your device has a 50 Ω RP-SMA jack (SMA body with a male centre pin inside the device connector), and
- It operates in the 890–960 MHz band (e.g. GSM/LTE 900 or 900 MHz ISM).
It will not mate correctly with standard (non-reverse-polarity) SMA connectors. For equipment with standard SMA, N-type, TNC or TS-9 connectors, use a suitable pigtail or adapter to convert to RP-SMA.
