Product Description

Dipole Antenna, RP-SMA Plug (Female Pin), 2.4–2.5 GHz, 2 dBi – DA-24-04-2-A60

Part Number: DA-24-04-2-A60

The DA-24-04-2-A60 is a classic straight “stick” dipole for the 2.4–2.5 GHz ISM band, fitted with an RP-SMA plug (reverse-polarity SMA, female centre pin) and designed for 50 Ω radios. It’s a neat screw-on antenna for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth® and general 2.4 GHz applications where you want something a bit better than a PCB trace or tiny stub.

The antenna offers around 2 dBi of omnidirectional gain – it radiates broadly in all directions around the antenna, so there’s no precise aiming required. Just mount the device with the antenna roughly upright for best coverage.

  • Band: 2.4–2.5 GHz (802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth®, 2.4 GHz ISM)
  • Connector: RP-SMA plug (female pin)
  • Impedance: 50 Ω
  • Nominal gain: ~2 dBi omnidirectional
  • Form factor: straight, compact dipole (“rubber-duck” style moulded housing)

Good use-cases

  • 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi access points, client radios and bridges with RP-SMA antenna ports
  • Bluetooth® gateways, development boards and 2.4 GHz IoT / telemetry devices
  • Lab / bench setups needing a tidy on-port 2.4 GHz antenna

Compatibility – quick check
Use this antenna if your device has a 50 Ω RP-SMA jack (device connector body is SMA-style and has a male centre pin) and operates in the 2.4–2.5 GHz band.

It will not mate correctly with standard (non-reverse-polarity) SMA. For SMA, N-type, TNC, TS-9 etc., add a short adapter or pigtail to convert to RP-SMA.
