Product Description

Multi-Band 5G Rubber Ducky Antenna, N Plug, 700–960 / 1700–2700 / 3300–3800 MHz, 2 dBi – ANT-NP-700-3800

Part Number: ANT-NP-700-3800

The ANT-NP-700-3800 is a multi-band “rubber ducky” style antenna with a standard N plug (male), designed for 50 Ω cellular and broadband equipment. It covers three key mobile bands:

  • 700–960 MHz – low bands for long-range 4G/5G coverage
  • 1700–2700 MHz – main 3G/4G LTE bands
  • 3300–3800 MHz – 5G “mid band” (e.g. n77 / n78)

Think of it as an all-round stick antenna for 2G/3G/4G/5G when you already have an N-type connector on your enclosure, surge protector or feed-through. It is a small omnidirectional dipole (roughly 2 dBi gain), so you don’t need to aim it – just screw it on and the signal is radiated in all directions around the antenna.

In plain terms – when is this useful?

  • When you want “one antenna that just works” with most UK/EU mobile bands
  • When your hardware already has an N jack (female) outside the box
  • When you don’t need the complexity of a big directional panel or yagi

Key features

  • Multi-band dipole for 2G / 3G / 4G / 5G
  • Connector: N plug (male)
  • Impedance: 50 Ω
  • Frequency bands:
    • 700–960 MHz
    • 1700–2700 MHz
    • 3300–3800 MHz
  • Nominal gain: around 2 dBi (small, honest boost over a basic stub)
  • “Rubber ducky” straight form factor – compact stick aerial
  • Omnidirectional radiation pattern – broadly uniform around the antenna
  • Suitable for indoor use or sheltered outdoor enclosures (actual weatherproofing depends on how it is mounted)

Good use-cases

  • 4G / 5G routers and modems where the enclosure brings the RF out on an N bulkhead
  • Industrial control / telemetry systems using 700–3800 MHz bands
  • Enclosures with N-type surge arrestors or wall feed-throughs – antenna screws straight on
  • Lab / bench testing of LTE/5G equipment across multiple bands

Compatibility notes (simple check)
This antenna is suitable if:

  • Your device/enclosure has a 50 Ω N jack (female) antenna connector, and
  • It uses mobile bands in the ranges 700–960, 1700–2700 or 3300–3800 MHz.

If your router only has SMA, RP-SMA or TS9 ports, you can still use this antenna with a short pigtail (N plug to your router’s connector). If you’re unsure, compare the product photos to the connector on your hardware or contact RFShop for advice.
