Product Description

Dipole Antenna, Dual Band, RP-SMA Plug (Female Pin), 2.4–2.5 GHz, 2 dBi – DA-24-04-2-A60

Part Number: DA-24-04-2-A60

The DA-24-04-2-A60 is a compact “rubber-ducky” style dipole, designed for the 2.4–2.5 GHz ISM / Wi-Fi band. It uses an RP-SMA plug (reverse-polarity, female centre pin) and is intended for 50 Ω radios. The OEM specification for the base model DA-24-04-2 gives a typical 2 dBi gain, vertical linear polarisation, VSWR ≤ 1.5:1 and operation over 2400–2500 MHz

This A60 variant keeps that RF performance but with the familiar RFShop “SMA 60” mechanical style, making it a neat, low-profile upgrade over tiny PCB antennas on Wi-Fi modules, gateways and 2.4 GHz telemetry gear.

DATASHEET – DA-24-04-2 (OEM)

  • Frequency band: 2.4–2.5 GHz (Wi-Fi / Bluetooth® / 2.4 GHz ISM)
  • Typical gain: 2 dBi (dipole, omnidirectional in azimuth)
  • Impedance: 50 Ω
  • VSWR: typically ≤ 1.5:1 over 2400–2500 MHz (per OEM spec)
  • Polarisation: linear vertical
  • Connector: RP-SMA plug (female centre pin)
  • Approx. size (DA-24-04-2 base): ~88 × 10 × 10 mm, weight ~12 g
  • Black moulded housing, “rubber-duck” style

Good use-cases

  • 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi access points, client radios and dev kits with RP-SMA antenna ports
  • Bluetooth® and 2.4 GHz ISM telemetry / IoT nodes
  • Routers / modems where 2.4 GHz is used for local data offload
  • Bench / lab setups needing a tidy on-port 2.4 GHz antenna

Compatibility – quick check
This antenna is suitable if:

  • Your device has a 50 Ω RP-SMA jack (device connector has a male centre pin), and
  • It operates in the 2.4–2.5 GHz band.
