The AD-A8A8-BF is an in-series SMA jack ↔ SMA jack adaptor with an integral bulkhead for panel feed-through. It’s a standard-polarity SMA interface (mechanically compatible with MIL-STD-348B, also mates with 3.5 mm/2.92 mm as per spec), rated DC–18 GHz with VSWR ≤ 1.2 and 50 Ω impedance. Typical insertion loss is low, specified as ≤ 0.04 × √f(GHz) dB on the datasheet.
