1. Purpose and Scope

RFShop(UK) Ltd is a small UK-based supplier of RF connectors, cables, assemblies and related components. This Environmental Policy sets out how we aim to minimise our environmental impact and applies to all RFShop UK activities, employees and contractors.

2. Our Commitment

We are committed to reducing our environmental footprint as far as is reasonably practicable for a business of our size. We will comply with relevant environmental legislation, seek to prevent pollution, use resources efficiently and continually improve our environmental performance.

3. Environmental Management

We will identify and periodically review key environmental aspects of our operations, such as energy use, transport, packaging and waste. Where appropriate we will set simple objectives and targets and review this policy at least annually or when significant changes occur in our business or legal requirements.

4. Responsible Sourcing and Products

Where possible we will work with reputable manufacturers and distributors that demonstrate good environmental and compliance practices, and we will obtain product environmental and compliance documentation (such as RoHS or REACH declarations) where appropriate.

5. Packaging, Waste Reduction and Recycling

We aim to re-use inbound cartons, void fill and suitable packaging materials where this does not compromise product protection or presentation. We will segregate and recycle waste where facilities exist and dispose of electronic waste and unusable components responsibly and in line with legislation.

6. Energy Use and Emissions

We will use energy efficiently in our office and workshop, for example by using appropriate heating controls, shutting down unused equipment and choosing energy-efficient devices where possible. We will consider lower-impact travel options for local journeys when feasible.

7. Transport and Logistics

We will offer consolidated shipping options where practical to reduce the number of individual shipments and will work with logistics partners to minimise unnecessary weight and volume while maintaining adequate product protection.

8. Legal Compliance

We will monitor relevant UK and EU environmental legislation and guidance that affects our activities and will maintain appropriate records to demonstrate compliance where necessary.

9. Awareness and Improvement

We will make staff and contractors aware of this policy and the role they play in reducing environmental impact. We will review our practices periodically in light of new guidance, technology and expectations and update this policy when appropriate.
